When Imran Khan abandoned Wasim Akram on an island, he told him the following story.

Wasim Akram, a renowned Pakistani pacer, gave an interview that is currently doing the rounds online. In it, he reminisces about the wonderful times he had with PTI Chairman and ex-prime minister Imran Khan.

The sultan of swing recalled a day when Khan was his captain and stated that despite being severe, he was also incredibly good-natured.

According to Akram, Khan had once invited him out to a nightclub and the pacer had gone through with it. Upon entering the club, Khan reportedly asked for a pint of milk, and Akram said that Khan had never touched alcohol in his life.

The fast bowler was stunned when he saw his former captain shaking hands with female teammates. A line of women waiting to shake Imran’s hand formed, and Akram said, “That’s amazing.”

According to Akram, Khan also dumped him on a U.S. island where the two were supposed to meet the PTI chief’s acquaintance.

“He drove us and a female friend of his to the airport in her own plane. Finally, we boarded a private plane for the 45-minute flight to a remote island. They met inside the house for a little discussion. In response, “Okay, so what do you guys want to do now?” Since our hotel is located on an island in the middle of South America and we can’t even return there, “As Akram explained the situation, he said.

Khan and Akram have both played with each other before. When the former prime minister was leading the team in 1992, Akram was a member of the squad.
