Who died in the shooting in Louisville?

Early on Monday morning, Connor Sturgeon, who worked at Old National Bank, came to work with a gun and started shooting people. Because of this, he shot and killed five people and hurt eight others.

Around 8:30, 30 minutes before the bank opens to the public, a large number of people were shot. Sturgeon, who was 25 years old at the time, started shooting during an employee meeting. Some of the virtual people there saw him kill other workers.

Governor Andy Beshear said that the “amazing people” who died will be mourned and missed.

Thomas Elliott
One of the people who died was Thomas Elliot, who was a senior vice president at the Old National Bank. He was chairman of the board at Baptist Health Louisville when he was 63 years old.

Governor Beshear wrote on Twitter about his “closest friend” Tommy Elliot: “He helped me build my law career, helped me become governor, and taught me how to be a good dad.”

“She is one of the people I talk to the most in the world, but we rarely talk about my job. He was such a great friend.”

In a recent Facebook post, the victim shared a post in support of Andy Beshear for 2019.

Larry Gray, the president of Baptist Health, said, “He was a friend to many people who wanted to make our community a better place to live and thrive.”

Farmer Loan expert Juliana Grandma Juliana Farmer just posted on Facebook yesterday that her fifth grandchild will be born in September.

Her son, J’yeon Christopher Chambers, wrote on Facebook about his mother, “Like, what am I supposed to do now? They took my mother, dammit!”

Michael Williams, her uncle, also wrote: “My beautiful and sweet sister, Juliana Farmer. My heart hurts.”

Brentney Owsley also wrote on Facebook, “You were just getting started living….The best mom, the best friend, the best grandma, and the best listener.”

Joshua Barrick
Joshua Barrick worked at Old National Bank as a senior vice president of business real estate banking. He was 40 years old and had two children. He also went to Holy Trinity Parish, where he was a member.

Barrick’s church posted a tribute to him on Facebook that said, “With a sad and heavy heart, I must tell you that one of our most beloved parishioners, Josh Barrick, has died.”

“Josh was one of the many people who died this morning at the Old National Bank in downtown Louisville when a gunman opened fire,” the post said.

“Our hearts are heavy and broken, and we want to know what to do.”

James Tutt
James Tutt was Old National Bank’s market leader for the southern part of the country.

He or she was from Frankfort and was 64 years old.

Laura Dement’s Facebook post said, “Heartbroken is the only word I can think of to explain how I feel. I really can’t find the right words to describe how I feel.”

She also said she had worked with Tutt, who was 64 at the time, for three years.

Mike Balog wrote on Facebook about Mr. Tutt, “You were a good man. A great dad. A good leader.”

“Thank you for giving me an internship at Bank One and letting me learn about the world of business. We already miss you.”

Deana Eckert
Deana Eckert died from her injuries even though she had gone through several surgeries, her family said.

Deana worked at Old National Bank as a senior administrative officer. She was 57 years old.

She was from Harrodsburg, Kentucky, which was written on her Facebook page.
