Shahid Afridi is a genuine admirer, and actor and broadcaster Fahad Mustafa won’t tolerate anyone making fun of the former captain, not even another cricketer . The Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad actor didn’t hold back when former bowler Danish Kaneria criticised Afridi for being the chief selector of the national cricket squad.
With a hazy, zoomed-in picture of Afridi eating on the field while wearing the uniform of the national team on Monday, Kaneria poked fun at the cricketer. In a spot-fixing investigation involving former English county player Mervyn Westfield, Kaneria was identified in court documents as a go-between in 2012. He was given a lifetime ban, which was never lifted despite multiple appeals.

At a hearing, bowler Westfield, 23, admitted guilt to receiving £6,000 to concede a specific number of runs in the opening over of a game between his Essex team and Durham in September 2009. The Essex teammate of Westfield told the London court that a friend would pay him to cheat, according to a report from the British Press Association.
