Babar Azam posts a picture from Masjid-e-Nabawi

During the holy month of Ramadan, Pakistan captain Babar Azam went to Saudi Arabia to do Umrah. He shared a picture from Madina with his fans.

Babar was supposed to play in a Ramadan game in Lahore, but instead he will do Umrah during this holy month.

The star player posted a picture of himself standing in the grounds of Masjid-e-Nabawi, which is the second-holiest place for Muslims after Masjid al-Haram.

Babar’s father, Azam Siddique, took a picture with his son on Wednesday, the day before Babar left for Saudi Arabia.

Fans and friends of Babar have praised him for being able to do another Umrah because he was in Saudi Arabia during Ramadan last year as well. They have also asked him to pray for India to win the World Cup.

Haris Rauf, one of Babar’s teammates, did Umrah on Thursday. Haris posted a picture of himself doing the journey on Twitter.

Mohammad Abbas, a Test bowler, also did Umrah this Ramadan.

During the Afghanistan T20I series, Babar, Haris, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, and Fakhar Zaman were given time off.
