DIRECT FLIGHTS TO ISLAMABAD WILL RESUME ON BRITISH AIRWAYS.

British Airways has announced that direct flights from London to Islamabad would resume on August 2. According to an agreement, British Airways would be required to pay aeronautical costs to the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA).

The PCAA’s approval letter said that the airline must adhere to the allotted flying routes. British Airways would not be permitted to transport military or surveillance equipment on its flights, and the airline’s administration will be required to notify the relevant authorities in Pakistan of any cancelled or delayed flights.

It is worth noting that the airline temporarily ceased flying operations to Islamabad two months ago.British Airways discontinued direct flights between Lahore and London Heathrow in February of this year when the agreement’s term expired. According to a representative for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the UK-based airline had suspended Lahore-London flights for operational reasons.
