Fahad Khawaja advances to the next round of 32 in table tennis at the Commonwealth Games.

Fahad Khawaja of Pakistan has won the last group match in the men’s table tennis competitions at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.

Fahad Khawaja, who is presently ranked 719 in the world, has qualified for the men’s singles round of 32.

Fahad Khawaja defeated Trinidad and Tobago’s Darren Douglas in the final group match. He advanced to the round of 32 by winning all three of his Group 15 preliminary matches.

Earlier, Fahad Khawaja defeated Guyana’s Christopher Franklin 0-4 in Group 15’s first match. In the second match, he defeated Mohtasin Ahmed of Bangladesh 1-4.

At 4:35pm PKT on Friday, Khawaja will face England’s world number 74 Paul Drinkhall in the round of 32 in Table Tennis, men’s singles.
