Indus Motor raises automobile pricing in the face of rupee weakness.

Indus Motor Company (IMC) has boosted the pricing of locally made variations of the Corolla, Yaris, Fortuner, and Revo in response to the Pakistani rupee’s continual depreciation against the US dollar and rising raw material prices.

The price modifications went into effect on July 28, but it should be noted that the corporation has opted to temporarily shut down its auto production factory from August 1-13 due to difficulties in importing raw materials.The new prices are as follows:

Meanwhile, the price of the Yaris 1.3 and 1.5 has risen from Rs760,000 to Rs910,000. As a result, the Yaris 1.3 starts at Rs3.799 million while the Yaris 1.5 starts at Rs4.569 million.

Toyota Fortuner prices increased by Rs2.530 million to Rs3.160 million, with the new price for Fortuner 2.7 G at Rs12.489 million and Fortuner Legender Diesel at Rs15.839 million.

Prices for various Revo models climbed between Rs1.830 million and Rs2.270 million.Hilux E pricing have risen by Rs1.680 million to Rs9.039 million per unit.
