Naseem Shah was fined for wearing the “wrong helmet” in the PSL 2023.

Naseem Shah of the Quetta Gladiators wore the wrong helmet during the third match of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Wednesday. This led to the bowler being fined by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Naseem was fined 10% of the match fee for wearing the wrong helmet during the game, which his team lost by nine wickets to the home team.

Under the PCB’s Code of Conduct, the right-arm pacer has been fined.

Ihsanullah, the star of the match, bowled out Naseem, who was wearing the helmet of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) team Comilla Victorians.

Before the PSL 8, the 20-year-old fast bowler had already played for the team in the BPL 2023.

The Gladiators were given the chance to bat first, but they were only able to score 110 runs. The home team reached the goal in 13.3 overs, thanks to Ihsanullah’s five-wicket haul and Rilee Rossouw’s great 78-run knock.

Rossouw’s 8th PSL 50 off 33 balls was impressive, and it helped Sultans finish the job with the bat. He hit nine fours and three sixes as he made 78 runs without being out. He did this in just 42 balls.

But the day belonged to Ihsanullah, a 20-year-old bowler who helped Sultans bowl out Gladiators for 110 by taking five wickets. Ihsanullah did very well with his fast bowling and took two wickets in a row to dominate in just his second match of his first PSL season. In his four overs, he got five wickets and let only 12 runs through.
