Pakistan, Sri Lanka to clash in West Asia Baseball Cup semi-final
Pakistan will play Sri Lanka in the semi-finals of the West Asia Baseball Cup in Islamabad. The schedule for the last four games was made by the Pakistan Federation of Baseball.
On Monday at 10 a.m., the hosts will play Sri Lanka, who won the West Asia Cup last year.
In the second semi-final of the event, Palestine will play Bangladesh. It will start at 1 p.m.
In the first game of the tournament, the 43rd-ranked Pakistani team beat Afghanistan by a score of 17-0. In the second game, the hosts beat Bangladesh by a score of 14-0.
Teams from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, and Palestine will all take part in the West Asia Cup.
The top two teams at the West Asia Cup will move on to the Asian Baseball Championship in Taiwan. This is a qualifier for the Baseball World Cup.
