PCB introduces season passes for PSL 8 matches

The Pakistan Cricket Board released season passes for the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Friday (PCB).

The board also said what the tournament’s ticket prices would be.

“Online tickets for the matches in Multan and Karachi will be available at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Fans can book their tickets at pcb.bookme.pk. During the tournament, fans will also be able to buy tickets in person at the box offices at each of the four venues. “When the time is right, tickets for the Rawalpindi and Lahore games will go on sale,” the PCB said in a statement.

Tickets for the first match on February 13 between the defending champions Lahore Qalandars and the 2021 winners Multan Sultans will cost Rs6,000 for the VIP enclosures, Rs3,000 for the Premium enclosures, Rs2,000 for the First Class enclosures, and Rs1,000 for the General enclosures.

Prices for tickets to the match between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators on February 15 have been set at Rs2,900 (VIP), Rs1,900 (Premium), Rs950 (First Class), and Rs650 (General). Prices for the other three home matches have been set at Rs4,000 (VIP), Rs2,000 (Premium), Rs1,500 (First Class), and Rs1,000 (General).

For matches on days other than Sunday in Karachi, tickets will cost Rs2,900 (VIP), Rs1,900 (Premium), Rs950 (First Class), and Rs650 (General Enclosures).

For the game between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars on February 19, tickets will cost Rs5,000 for the VIP section, Rs3,000 for the Premium section, Rs2,000 for the First Class section, and Rs1,000 for the General section.

Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans will play in the final match in Karachi on Sunday, February 26. VIP tickets will cost Rs4,000, Premium tickets will cost Rs2,000, First Class tickets will cost Rs1,500, and General Enclosure tickets will cost Rs1,000.

“The PCB is offering discounted season passes for the first time. These passes will cover weekday games. This is to get cricket fans and families to buy cheaper tickets so they can watch some of the best short-form cricketers in Pakistan compete for the biggest prize in Pakistan cricket,” the statement said.

“The PCB has also said that one CNIC can be used to buy one ticket. If you don’t have a CNIC, you can buy a ticket with your passport. If you’re under 18, you’ll need a B-Form. “Everyone who buys a ticket will need to bring the government-issued ID that they used to buy the ticket,” it said.
