ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb was excited about the start of PTVFlix on Sunday. She said that it would give viewers access to a national treasure, like the PTV’s golden years.

In a tweet, she said that the project started in July 2022. It is a new over-the-top (OTT) video streaming site where people from all over the world can watch TV shows, dramas, documentaries, sports, and other programs from PTV.

The minister said that PTV has made shows that have become national treasures over the years.

“Popular dramas and PTV shows like Dhoop Kangar and Aynakwala Jin are ingrained in our memories,” she said.

She said that PTVFlix has a large library of new and old material that is easy to get to.

Marritum Aurangzeb said that this project will help both young and old people get back in touch with the PTV programming that has changed so many lives.

Both Android and iOS can be used to download the PTVFlix app.

She thanked the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the PTV team for how well PTV Flix had been launched. She told them how proud she was of how hard they worked to make this idea come true.

She also said that she was thankful to Bushra Ansari, Javed Shaikh, and Khalid Abbas Dar for taking part in the event in a special way.
