Seventeen sets the record for the K-pop album that sold the most copies.

With their return album FML, K-pop group Seventeen broke the record for the best-selling K-pop album. In just one week, they were able to sell more than 4.5 million copies of the record.

On April 24, they released their tenth mini album, and within a few days, they made history in the K-pop world. FML was the first record ever released by Hanteo to sell more than 3 million copies on its first day.

They also said that about 4,550,214 copies of the record were sold in the first week. As if that wasn’t enough, they now also hold the record for the most albums sold in total. This record used to belong to BTS, whose album Map of the Soul: 7 sold about 3.3 million copies in its first week and 4.2 million copies in total.
