Shaheen Afridi begs supporters to pray for a speedy recovery for the Asia Cup 2022

After being disqualified from the T20 Asia Cup 2022 on Saturday, Pakistani bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi asked his supporters to pray.

Afridi’s exclusion from the next Asia Cup 2022 was officially declared earlier today by the PCB, giving a significant blow to the Pakistani team who were counting on his bowling in the upcoming international competition.

The top player promised to make a great return to the squad in a message to the millions of his supporters on Twitter.

“Each member of our starting lineup is a match-winner. I’d like to wish my team well in the next Asia Cup. Please remember me in your thoughts for a speedy recovery, fans. Inshallah, I’ll be back shortly “He composed.

The bowler is sure that his squad will do well at the T20 Asia Cup in 2022.

Afridi will, however, travel with the national squad to Dubai for the T20 Asia Cup in order to receive better care.

On August 22, he will go to Dubai with the national squad. The elite rehabilitation facilities that are accessible in the UAE metropolis led to the decision to keep Afridi with the team.

Shaheen will receive first-rate care in Dubai, according to confirmation from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Following the most recent scans and reports, Shaheen was given the recommendation to take four to six weeks out after sustaining a right knee ligament damage while fielding during the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle last month.

The T20 Asia Cup 2022 will take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from August 28 to September 11, while England will play seven T20 Internationals in Karachi and Lahore from September 20 to October 2.

For the tri-nation series in New Zealand and the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia in October-November, Afridi is anticipated to make a comeback.
