Shahnawaz Dahani goes ‘back to school’

Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani went to his elementary school in Larkana on Tuesday. He met with students and teachers there.

Dahani, who is from the city, went on Twitter to talk about his trip to the school he went to until the sixth grade.

The cricket player, who is 24 years old, said that his father couldn’t pay his school fees, so he had to go to the Government Pilot School in Larkana.

Dahani wrote about finishing his high school education at a government school and then going to Commerce College Larkana to get a bachelor’s degree in commerce.

The fast bowler posted pictures of his trip to the school on Twitter and wrote that meeting teachers and students there was a “honour.”

In the pictures, Dahani is seen talking to students while sitting in classrooms, signing autographs for his young fans, and posing with them while they hold up posters made just for him.

The young cricketer is known for being friendly to his fans and for being a sport on and off the field.

Dahani will be playing for the Multan Sultans in the next season of the Pakistan Super League, which will run from February 13 to March 19, 2023, at four different locations across the country.

In a tweet, he also talked about how excited he was to play in the big cricket tournament in Pakistan.

Dahani put the following on the microblogging site: “Hahaha! Don’t get in my way now.”
