Fahad Mustafa appreciates Babar Azam in the ICC Test rankings

Actor Fahad Mustafa lauded Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam after the batter was named one of the top three batters in Test cricket.As the International Cricket Council (ICC) released new Test rankings on Wednesday, Azam climbed up to third place.

While Azam is already the greatest player in both white-ball forms, he has yet to reach the pinnacle of Test cricket, trailing England’s Joe Root.

Root remains unrivalled at the top of the Test rankings, but Babar has risen one spot to third overall and to a career-high rating of 874 points following his magnificent century in the first Test of Pakistan’s ongoing series against Sri Lanka in Galle.

Mustafa responded “Kya baat hai (amazing)”.

Babar scored almost 55% of Pakistan’s first-innings runs during that Test, with the right-hander contributing 119 runs to a team score of 218 that ultimately helped the side keep in touch with Sri Lanka’s first innings total of 222.
