Imad Wasim promises to keep fighting after Karachi Kings’ third straight loss in PSL 2023.

Even though the Karachi Kings have lost three games in a row, their captain, Imad Wasim, says they won’t give up and will keep fighting until the end.

Imad Wasim vows to keep fighting after the Karachi Kings lose for the third time in a row.
Wasim told the media that they had played bad cricket after their third straight loss.

“In all three games, we made mistakes that cost us.

Karachi lost to Quetta Gladiators in Karachi by six runs when they were trying to reach their goal of 168 runs. It was the third loss in a row for the Kings in season 8 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

He did say that, though “as a captain, I am not under pressure at all. I can promise you that we won’t give up until we’re out of the tournament, whether we win or lose.”

After losing to Quetta, Karachi Kings have now lost 13 of the last 14 PSL games they’ve played. In PSL 7, when Babar Azam was captain, they lost nine out of ten games.

Wasim said that Martin Guptill, a New Zealand batsman, won the game for the Gladiators after their bowlers brought them down to 92-5 in 14.5 overs.

“Guptill will get my praise for sure. He played too well, and we lost the game “he said.

The Kings’ captain also said that their main goal right now is to win their next games and come back. “When things look bad, good teams come back. We will do everything we can to make it to the playoffs “he added.

“No problem” with Amir’s anger
The left-handed batter defended the pacer Muhammad Amir and said that people can be aggressive when they are angry. “A fast bowler needs to be bold. I don’t think he does anything on purpose; it just happens when he’s angry “said Wasim.

He also said that he didn’t mind how aggressive he was as long as the match officials didn’t mind.

Amir got a lot of bad press for being mean to younger teams like Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United.

Former all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi also talked about Amir’s behaviour on the field in a TV show. Afridi said that he had talked to Amir and told him to calm down and pay attention to the game.

It’s important to note that the Kings will play the Lahore Qalandars today in a high-stakes game in Karachi.
