Pakistan congratulates Arshad Nadeem on his Commonwealth Games gold medal.

Arshad Nadeem was welcomed by the entire country late Sunday for his outstanding performance in the Commonwealth Games, where he won the gold medal for Pakistan in the javelin throw competition.

This is Pakistan’s second gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022. Weightlifter Nooh Dastagir Butt had previously won gold for Pakistan in the Commonwealth Games 2022 with a record lift of 405kg.

Nadeem set a new record in the first round of the javelin throw final with an 86.81-metre throw.However, in her fifth attempt, the Olympian set a new CWG record of 90.18m throw, becoming the first Pakistani to do so.

Nadeem also surpassed India’s Neeraj Chopra’s Tokyo Olympic throw of 87.58m (Gold) and World Athletics Championship throw of 88.13Taking to Twitter, the entire Pakistani country, including the president, praised the sportsman for his excellent performance at the Commonwealth Games.
