Pakistan wins the Asian Junior Squash Championship by beating India.
Pakistan beat India on Sunday to win the 21st Asian Junior Team Squash Championship, which was held at the Indian Squash and Triathlon Academy in Chennai.
In the first match of the final, Noor Zaman of Pakistan and Krishna Mishra of India played a tough match that went four games.
The first game between the two players was close, but Noor fought hard and won by a score of 12-10.
But Krishna Mishra won the second game with a score of 11–9. In the end, Noor helped Pakistan win the last game by a score of 3-1, which gave them a strong lead.
In the next game, Hamza Khan, a squash star from Pakistan who has won two Asian Junior titles and one British Junior title, went up against Paarth Ambani.
Hamza dominated Paarth, and secured a comfortable 3-0 win over his opponent.
The Pakistan Squash Federation put out a message on Twitter that said, “Congratulations, Pakistan.
Well done Team Pakistan we are proud of you. Pakistan won the Asian Junior Squash Team Championship 2023 in Chennai by beating India in the final (India). Pakistan beat India 2/0.”
Pakistan beat Malaysia in the semi-final, and India beat Korea to make it to the final of the event.
