Preparations for Shaheen Afridi’s wedding are in full swing
KARACHI: National team fast bowler Shaheen Afridi and his family have arrived in Karachi for his wedding to Ansha Afridi, the daughter of legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi.
On Friday, February 3, Shaheen will marry the daughter of Pakistan’s best player.
Family members say that Shaheen Afridi and Ansha will sign their nikah nama, which is a marriage contract in a Muslim wedding. The rukhsati, or sending off, will happen later.
Fans will be happy to hear that Shaheen and Ansha are getting married and that the groom and his family have arrived in the port city. Two years ago, the pacer asked Ansha to marry him.
Sources told Geo News that the Mehndi ceremony will happen tonight in the city of lights.
Also, it’s important to mention that the wedding invitation is going viral on social media. But no one from either family has checked whether or not the card is real.
In an earlier interview on the show “Aik Din Geo Kai Sath” on Geo News, the 21-year-old revealed that it was his wish to marry Afridi’s daughter. When the host, Sohail Waraich, asked Shaheen about his engagement and his relationship with Shahid Afridi’s daughter.
The cricketer blushed and said, “It was my wish, and Alhumdulillah it is fulfilled now,” he shared.
During the interview, Shaheen was asked if Ansha is jealous of him because so many women like him. Afridi said he didn’t know the answer to that question.
“I don’t know, maybe she feels that way,” the cricketer said as a joke.
The host also asked Shaheen if getting engaged at a young age had upset a lot of her female fans.
At this, Shaheen said: “I found my heart and that’s enough for me.”

Khan’s wedding to the daughter of the current head coach of the national team was announced on Twitter last month. The cricket player also asked people to give him and his wife some space.
