Wahab Riaz says that Babar Azam will get better at being captain as time goes on.

Pakistan’s best fast bowler, Wahab Riaz, said Thursday about Babar Azam’s job as captain that Azam “will learn from his experiences.”

Riaz also said that Azam had only been a captain for one year in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), so he should be given more time to improve in this area.

In an exclusive interview with GeoSuper.tv, the pacer said that Babar’s arrival at Peshawar Zalmi as captain will be good for everyone on the team, including him.

“We are glad that the captain of Pakistan is now also the captain of Peshawar. We have a good chance to play well with him as captain. Not only will I try to prove my worth, but so will everyone else “he said.

Wahab’s 100 PSL wickets
The left-handed fast bowler was also very happy about being the only bowler in PSL to have taken 100 or more wickets. So far in Pakistan’s best tournament, he has taken 103 wickets in 77 games.

“I’m thankful to Allah that I’m in this league and that I’ve been able to do this,” said Wahab. “I have another year and more chances. I’ll try to use it to my advantage and help my team win games.”

Wahab also talked about how Zalmi won the PSL title in 2017.

“When we won the PSL, that was the best moment. We had a great time. It was a very exciting moment “he said.

Kamran Akmal’s absence
Wahab will also miss Kamran Akmal in PSL 8 because the wicketkeeper-batsman wasn’t picked this year.

“Kami bhai and I have both played for Peshawar since the beginning. People will definitely miss him. I learned a lot about cricket from him, and we are very close “He gave.

It’s important to note that Kamran has only been working as Zalmi’s batting coach for a week. Before PSL 8 starts, he will work with Zalmi players in training sessions.

The Men in Yellow will begin their PSL 8 season on February 14 against the Karachi Kings at the National Stadium in Karachi.
